Insurance
We accept IEHP, Optum, Medicare, UBH, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, all major credit cards and cash payments. While pharmacogenomic testing is covered by Medicare and many commercial insurers, only very few commercial insurance companies cover Whole Exome or Whole Genome sequencing, which may cost $500 and up. Please contact us first to establish which services will be most appropriate for the patient and then verify with your insurance carrier which services will be covered.
Initial case evaluation is free
Before the first appointment is scheduled, prior medical records and other information gathered from the prospective patient and his/her physician must be evaluated. Examples of relevant records include laboratory data, medication lists, consultant reports and imaging studies. This comprehensive evaluation is necessary in order to determine if clinic visit followed by Next Generation whole genome or whole exome sequencing are likely to provide valuable clinical and diagnostic information. At the clinic patients will be seen by a physician with expertise in clinical genetics and a genetic counselor.
